calling any techie people out there who might be able to help me on this.
I just received a comment from a teacher who was checking my website and it turns out somebody has stolen it!
Somehow 'they' have attached my website name to link to a porn site- so
DO NOT OPEN www.Bellylorna.com
Even though I still own and have paid for that domain name I had no pages saved under it yet- the blog is enough for me just now- but I was waiting to get to get round it....................
now I really don't know what to do or who to complain too..........................
very upset and angry!!!!
any help please???????
( this bit added in June!- ps all websites now safe to use!!!!!!!!!!!! the hackers have been ousted!!!)

do you have a host where you bought server space? or did you just buy the domainname? if you have a host they should be able to help. i've had a hacker a few years ago as well. if you dont have a host, you need to send a complaint to whereever you bought the domainname. but i'd get a host, buy some webspace (mine only costs 30£ per year), and have them put at least ONE page on the actual website.

That's horrible. I'm sorry I don't have the technological knowledge to offer advice- can your web-hosting company help?
I have sent the host a complain just now- waiting to hear back from them....
ideally I would like for my blog to come up when you insert either my .com or .co.uk address - but don't know how to go about that- sure it is possible.....
will check it out....
sooooooooooooo grateful to you for pointing it out to me so I can get it sorted asap!!!!!
recovered from Cairo yet????
No! I want to be back there!
HI Lorna
You can ask your host to set up a redirect so that when someone tries to access that page they are automatically sent to your blog.
Don't want to get too technical but you should make sure that the host that you choose uses unix/linux rather than windows servers as they are harder to hack. Having said that nothing is bullet proof, if you make at least one page to put on the site and your host backs it up then they can easily overwrite anything that is put there for nasty reasons in future.
I am coming there soon (have emailed you a few times) and could help a bit more then if you like
June
Did a WHOIS on your DNS and it is still registered under your name. Did a WHOIS on the site that it is re-directing to and it seems like that site is registered to tucows.com maybe you want to contact them and tell them about your problem as well?
Hope it helps...
